Hub One DataTrust attaches particular importance to the protection of personal data and privacy. It undertakes to process the personal data of natural persons (the “User”) accessing and using this website (the “Site”) in compliance with applicable French and European data protection laws and regulations, including the French Data Protection Act and Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (General Data Protection Regulation – “GDPR”) (together, the “Applicable Data Protection Laws”).

Terms such as “Personal Data”, “Processing”, “Data Controller”, “Data Subject”, “Legal Basis” and “Purpose” shall have the meanings ascribed to them under the Applicable Data Protection Laws.

Personal Data is processed by Hub One Data Trust, a simplified joint-stock company (société par actions simplifiée) with a share capital of €2,200,000, whose registered office is located at Continental Square 1, Bâtiment Mercure, 2 Place de Londres, 93290 Tremblay-en-France, France, registered with the Bobigny Trade and Companies Register under number 953 263 282, acting in its capacity as Data Controller.

2. Processing Activities, Purposes and Legal Bases

a. Handling contact requests

Purpose: To process and respond to enquiries, including requests for content downloads or requests to be contacted.

Data processed: First name, last name, email address, telephone number, message, job title and company.

Legal basis: Legitimate interests pursued by Hub One DataTrust, namely responding to enquiries from clients and prospective clients.

b. Analytics and audience measurement

Purpose: To analyse traffic and usage of the Site and produce audience measurement statistics.

Data processed: Time spent on the Site, referring URL, download activity, timestamps.

Legal basis: Legitimate interests pursued by Hub One DataTrust, namely improving its services and enhancing user experience.

c. Commercial communications

Purpose: To carry out business development activities and send commercial communications.

Data processed: Name, company, job title, email address, telephone number.

Legal basis: Legitimate interests pursued by Hub One DataTrust, namely promoting its activities to professionals.

3. Data Retention

Personal Data is retained for no longer than is necessary for the purposes for which it is processed and in accordance with applicable legal and regulatory requirements. Personal Data may, however, be retained for longer periods where necessary for the establishment, exercise or defence of legal claims, or to comply with legal obligations.

The Site uses cookies and similar technologies in order to ensure its proper functioning, security and performance, as well as to improve the services provided.

5. User Obligations

Users undertake to provide accurate, complete and up-to-date information concerning their identity and situation.

Where certain fields are indicated as mandatory, Users are required to complete them; failing which, access to the corresponding services may be restricted.

Sensitive Personal Data must not be submitted via the Site. Should such data nevertheless be provided, it will be deleted without undue delay upon becoming aware of its nature.

  • OVH (hosting provider);
  • Supertag (maintenance provider).

Hub One DataTrust undertakes to implement appropriate technical and organisational measures to ensure the confidentiality and security of Personal Data and to ensure that its employees and service providers comply with such measures.

All recipients of Personal Data are located within the European Economic Area (EEA). Accordingly, no transfers of Personal Data outside the EEA take place in the normal operation of the Site.

7. Retention and Deletion

Personal Data is deleted or anonymised upon expiry of the applicable retention periods or upon a valid request from the User, where applicable.

8. Data Security

Appropriate technical and organisational measures are implemented to ensure the confidentiality, integrity and availability of Personal Data, including, in particular, access control mechanisms and network security measures.

The Site may contain links to third-party websites. Hub One DataTrust shall not be held liable for the data protection practices of such third-party websites. Users are encouraged to review their respective privacy policies.

9. International Data Transfers

Where Personal Data is transferred outside the EEA, appropriate safeguards are implemented in accordance with applicable regulations, including, where applicable, the execution of standard contractual clauses adopted by the European Commission.

10. Data Subject Rights

Users benefit from the rights provided for under applicable data protection laws, including the right of access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, objection and the right to data portability, subject to the conditions set out therein.
